Equestrian Mindset

My Equestrian Mindset approach is an individualized mental skills performance plan created to improve an equestrian's well-being.   It is not just for equestrians who are competing and attending  horseshows.  It is for all equestrians who want to improve their relationship with themselves and their horse, and who may need help with managing life's stressors.

Skill training is an engaged,  collaborative process.  I can meet with clients in person, or  at the barn with your horse,  or both together  via FaceTime or Zoom.  In my experience, weekly sessions for a period of three months can produce lasting results.  I will provide tools for each client, and keep in touch via texting or  email in between our meetings to make sure your following up on your performance plan  homework.

I am also available for coaching when you are at a competition or if a crisis unexpectedly comes up (availability is based on my competition schedule)!

Mind-Body Relationship

Your mental skills are your unrecognized superpowers! Your mind/body relationship is as important as your balance on your horse. The Equestrian Mindset approach will give you tools to help you through your warm-up to after your ride.

  • Do you wonder why one aspect of your ride doesn't seems to go as planned?
  • Can't seem to manage show nerves?
  • Do you want a better balance with your horse life and with your career and/or family?
  • Can't slow your brain down?
  • Chronically tense?
  • Can you identify what your horse is trying to tell you?

Together let's formulate a plan to master your mind and help you be the best you can be. Winning is amazingly fun, but a champion needs a motivation above and beyond a blue ribbon, they need an inner sense of personal achievement and satisfaction.
